Yes, I think Bush's policies and the war in Iraq had a lot to do with their loss. I think more has to do with the war than anything, along with all the corruption.

bush's iraq policy was the major force behind the democratic victory last november.

however exit polls suggest that the scandals that surrounded the republican party was also a major influence on voters.

No, it was a liberal -biased media that distorts the truth, only reports on issues that negatively effect a conservative media, and an un-popular but necessary war in the middle east.

It was likely the "do-nothing-rubber stamp" congress. When the constituency speaks, we expect action to be taken and when there is none, you see what happened in 2006.

What "policies" - if it weren't for Macaca the GOP would still have the Senate and if it weren't for Foley and Abramoff they'd still have the House. People aren't happy about Iraq but that alone wouldn't have swung it.

If the liberals would stop controlling the media and force them to say bad things about the republicans, we wouldn't be in this predicament. Our policies are fine. The media is out to make them look bad.

If most of the republicans were not turning so liberal on us conservatives, i just may have voted for some of them
