Makes me sick to see how he and other Democrats actually think that the American people are that dumb. We really do know what pork is, right?

As a life long Democrat, this loading the Iraq funding bill with all this crap is loathsome. If the Democratic leadership has to bribe its members with this wasteful junk, the Iraq bill is rubbish. It should be a straight up and down vote on the bill, not an opportunity for lawmakers to award government money to constituents for dubious causes. And since Bush is going to veto any bill like this anyway, it's an enormous waste of time.
I am embarrassed for my party.

Oh, you mean Dr. Draft? I find little value to anything that comes out of his mouth, other than for a laugh, or pondering how dumb his constituents must be.
I hadn't heard him, but I can only imagine.
Probably something along the lines of, "Well, you know, pork isn't really pork anymore."

Absolutely, we know what pork is. The sad thing about this bill, is that the Democrats couldn't even pass it without bribing others through all this pork to side with them. That just proves that this is political theater. They just cannot stand on principle, it's all about getting power.

Might technically be pork, but funding injured vets is a little different than spending $50,000,000 to build a bridge for 50 people to use.
