In terms of faith the greatest wisdom of all is in the fear of God. Whereas, in terms of knowledge anyone who considers himself, or herself to be wise is in fact not wise but ignorant, the acknowledgement of ignorance, through knowing intellectually, is in fact the greatest act of wisdom in all. This means conventional wisdom gained through knowledge no one can not make people wise and therefore cannot promise an experience of a state of proper wisdom I being, on the other hand, however, faith in God can enable people to live wisely however fearful of an absolute being in existence.

The philosophical fact behind this is that all that we know, we know only arbitrarily and referentially, we can never know anything absolutely fully. If for example, there is a room in which there are some dark corners that our eye cannot see through then however many a things in the lit up areas of the room we know, and however well we may know them, we never know them full until we all that is there. Our knowledge about the existence that we have is patchy and dangerously incomplete; we are like a person in a dark dark night in the middle of a dark dark forest with only torch in our hand with which we can see only one thing at a time and the rest of all stays covered in darkness, and the range of the light of our torch does not exceed a certain limit making us wonder about things that might be there, lurking in the dark. How can we be wise when we know just so little?

A faith is a path of wisdom in a sense that it not only guides us how to manage things we know but also by defining things that we can know intellectually. Accomplishment of a full human state of mind is only possible through knowledge of faith; all other kinds of knowledge lead us along the path of doubt, and never full certainty.

Not at all. I've known people with all the faith in the world that are not very bright. This is because they let their faith blind them to facts. Wisdom is the ability to look at the world clearly and learn from your mistakes, and to keep on learning. Not taking a certain path and never even thinking about the other possibilities. I'm not saying that wise people cannot also have faith. I'm just saying that faith is not necessarily wisdom.

I don't believe there is a direct correlation. I think wisdom comes from realization of something greater than ones own thoughts and feelings, and the ability to see things from that perspective. I think many wise people connect well with faith due to the realization that they in fact know very little. This is not to say one will accompany the other.

Funny question that one. Is there a reciprocal relationship between faith and wisdom. To a certain extent Yes.

They are not mutually incompatible concepts. Faith and wisdom are complimentary of each other, faith in the current climate maybe intimates at some sort of extremist view, but taken out of the current climate and put into less fervent times then yes wisdom can be gained through faith.

What makes a wise person wise, only one thing in my opinion Experience.

There is no correlation between faith and wisdom. Faith is believing against all reason. Wisdom is an understanding of the role of and the limitations of reason. They are different, because someone that is wise knows that they do not know, whereas, someone that has faith, thinks that they do, no matter what.

Rose, there is no actual relationship between faith and wisdom. Faith is what you believe without question. Wisdom is only gained from experience, and especially the understanding of that experience.

To be wise? Confucius said "Only a fool thinks himself a wise man. A truly wise man knows himself to be a fool."
Wisdom, then, is knowing that there is much more to know than you already know.

Faith is believing in someone or something. Like having faith in God. Wisdom is something you earn through experience, thats why they say "The old wise man." Usually elderly people are more wise because they've "seen it all." I don't think it correlates because you can't give wise advice off of faith...not everyone believes in something

Quite the opposite, I think wisdom comes from experience and faith is based on believing in something with no proof.
Wisdom is knowing what it feels like to suffer and being able to understand and have compassion for the suffering of others.
Faith is a magical ride to happy land if you are a good boy or girl.

Faith and Wisdom is Divine qualities and can be obtained but not defined .All the definition of it is not true but can lead to Truth. Once obtained all verbalization of it cannot grasp a vastness of embodiment..Sufi well know that....as well as others whom represent Faith and Wisdom. It can be known by heart, for mind is incapable to hold a tiny bit of it. It holds beliefs, and belief has nothing to do with Faith and Wisdom....
