well they are giving the children who come from the most impoverished nations in the world i.e. Cambodia and Vietnam a chance to have something in life. I understand your point that American kids need a happy home as well, but this is the richest nation in the world, and American orphans are not hopeless, they still have a hundred times more opportunities to succeed than orphans from these poor regions

American kids have people lining up to adopt them... it oftens takes years on a waiting list.

No its not there there is something wrong with the kids, its all the red tape you have to go thru to adopt here. It can take years here to adopt a child, and if you pass their red tape you may be lucky to adopt.

It's the law of supply and demand. There aren't enough american babies to go around.
Sadly, there are many older children available for adoption that couples don't even consider.

The adoption policy in the US is too strict.
They are basically bought.(Yes they are)
They also do not have to worry about the natural birth parents showing up.
Besides that it's ok.
