Does he hate me?!?
i always sing in choir. im the best singer in the whole class. the teacher told me that he thinks im the best singer in the whole class who has a good voice. so today we had to sing this weird song called broadway musical. he was grading us like he does everyday. he always looks at me the most. why is that? every time i look up i see him staring at me. he hardly looks at anyone else. usually he looks up at me and marks something down. i always sit up straghht with good posture and move my lips. everyone else isn't even singing. so you could say im the teachers pet. but today i kept getting lost in the music. my friend told me he looked at me, shook his head in dissappointment and marked something down. i was even singing half way through the song because i didn't even know where we were. now he thinks im a bad student and doesn't singing. my whole good singing reputation is so ruined. how can i make up for it? what do u guys think? does he hate me now?

Some teachers when they detect a person has potential they are tougher with this person, so he could exploit his/her full potential to ways he/she hasn't imagined.

It's the teachers way of pushing you... Making you be the best and making you and always driving you to make sure you want to be the best.
Sure you messed up, SO what we all have and do from time to time. Does that mean he's upset with you and hates you.....
NO he doesn't hate you. He expects the most out of you since you are the best singer in the class.

Don't take it to heart, push yourself, and show him that you are who HE thinks you are and just nail the song on the head.

Maybe you could take some of the music home and practice it there, learn it, and then the next time you have class show him who you really are and how good you both know you can be!

You'll be fine! Keep up the good work!

I think you may be overreacting a bit. If you are the only one singing, then why would he be mad at you? He should be upset with everyone who isn't trying.

Everyone has a bad day now and then. Don't worry if you feel like you weren't singing well. You will learn and do better next time.

:)

He doesn't think you are a bad student. He thinks you're human and wrote down some constructive criticism to help you better yourself.

Everyone has those days where they are just 'off'. It shouldn't have that much of an impact on your overall grade. I think you're making too much out this one situation. Just relax.
