Well i liked the Outsiders, I read it a few months ago not bad, kind of odd. But if your aloud the Inheritance trilogy is awesome, so you know i mean Eargon and Eldest the third one comes out this summer. Also i liked all of the Warriors series. Very cool how they did it from a cats point of view. Then there is Airborne and Skybreaker there very good you should be able to read them. Not really violent kind of sad almost a romance, Skybreaker. Well i could fill up this page but i will leave it at this. Oops I almost forgot three really good books. There is Holes and Small Steps. Then there is another book called Small Steps:The year i got Polo. It is kind of sad but is very good. So sorry about the Harry Potter thing the books are much, much, MUCH better then the movies. Also sorry for no authors i forgot most of them... Shame Shame.

The Outsiders, never read the book but it was a great movie with Patrick Swayze...I highly recommend the movie. =)

As for my favorite books, I really like Historical Fiction. My favorite author right now is Philippa Gregory. She writes a lot about Henry the 8th, and Queen Mary and Elizabeth (from the 17th century). Great detail in her books. They are thick books that take some time to get through, but they are great. I highly recommend her.

I also like Christian books, Jeanette Oke is a favorite of mine for Christian books, you can find her books at any Family Christian Store. Wonderful author.

Have fun reading!

Too bad about HP...the books are 1000 times better than the movies. Maybe someday...

I also liked the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. When I was younger, I really liked The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett.

Another really great book - one of my faves is "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant. It is biblical fiction (pure fiction that takes place in biblical times -- with lots of true insight about how life was back then) but one word of warning - it does have some adult themes...a little romance and violence. One of my favorites though.

Happy Reading!

I enjoyed the "Ender" series a great deal. Of course The DaVinci Code was terrific, but my guess is you wouldn't be allowed to read that either. What about the "Flowers in the Attic" series? Or the Dune Trilogy. What about the Chronicles of Narnia, the entire series?

Or, of course, you might want to go to some advanced or adult novels, rather than just teenage books.
