An environmentally secure dwelling large enough for my wife, my dog, and me to live in comfort, and enough food, water, Ice, reading material and other creature comforts to sustain us during our stay. Also, some sort of telecommunications that would provide both entertainment and two-way communication with Earth, and a hovercraft to get around when needed. Oh yeah, A whole Bunch of Cold Miller Lite, Gin, and Tequila plus a book of the language used on Mars so we could invite the natives to a party.

An endless supply of food, water, and air...presuming there was adequate protection from the elements. Otherwise, all would be for naught.

Some kind of space suit is in order, then sun tan lotion for when i have got used to it, oh and a good book for when the martians start to annoy me with their inane chatter about invading earth.........
