is there any live plants i can grow in a 55gal tank with my little leopard gecko?
if there is give me all the info plz.

here is a list of edible plans you can decide which to introduce to your gecko. if you have a petco petsmart or a good petstore most will have water plants available for 2 bucks I have 4 in my tank they are not a problem to care for at all. if you go with artificial get ones that are made of a single piece of material not the ones where the leaves press into these holes on the stem.

A "Pothos" plant, it's a vine, and safe. I found out about using Pothos, in a book on lizard care I bought at the pet store. Also, it is one of the few plants that actually absorbs odors in it's leaves. You can tell how much odor is present by looking at the leaves, they get white-yellowish blotches on them. Keeps the air fresher for your pet. Iguanas love to eat the leaves. They are perfectly safe, and that color, and places for your gecko to hide.
We just put the pot and all in there, a year or so ago, it has filled the tank. We put a dish underneath it and water it from the bottom. It loves it in there. It's real easy to get a start of too,

Leopard geckos like arid desert climates, so research some plants from those zones. Not many plants are designed to handle that high heat and low humidity. Cacti may be the only live plant able to survive you habitat.

I'd stick to fake plants. easier to care for.

duckweed and java moss don't need to be planted and are cool, they just float around
