The saying LOVE IS BLIND has nothing to do with love at first sight...
It has to do with not seeing the negative side of a person cause you don't want to see. You don't want to see that the person your heart flutters over is a scoundrel or an @sshole...you only SEE the good parts that you want to see and put the bad parts that you know are there behind you where you cannot see them.

First of all your profile picture of Arjun Rampal made me fall in love with him at first sight, but when i watched one of his movies the spark died off..........
Love is blind implies, u seem to overlook a lot u may not have otherwise (like some flaws of a partner) out of love with them. u r blinded by love thats why love is considered blind,
People with impaired or no eye sight can be blind in love !!
anyway these two phrases are not coincideded, related or relevent to each other.lust at first sight however is very possible.

i don't believe in love at first sight. i believe in "lust at first sight" but not love at first sight because a person can be compleaty beautiful on the outside & be really stuck up & hard to get along with on the inside or someone can be really ugly on the outside & just awesome on the inside but you pass them by cuz of their looks. . . i personaly think you have to get 2 kno the person before you fall in love. ..

It's in your question itself. Love only is blind and not the persons who have that feeling, right!
Actually, it means that the feeling of love for someone makes someone to be blind, not allowing to foresee the consequences.

you can have feelings for some one when you dont know anything about them

U feel love . U dont see it. When u physically see the person - that is the sight.Then u experience the love that the person is giving you. That is love
