How can you find peoples phone number?

I need to track someones phone number for a friend. I have their full name and address. What online source can I use.
This is in the UK and I have tried the phone books. What else can I do/use

bt.com allows you to look up phone numbers unless the person you are seeking has denied listing (X directory)

In that case you must get the number from them or a mutual friend (if they agree)
