It's not common, but I think it's awsome you like good music. I started to listen to van morrison when I was 12 (I'm 16 now) and since that point on, I've been listening to jazz, blues, classic rock (mostly classic rock) and not listening to what the radio plays. It's awsome you're doing your own thing.

Not at all. Good music is timeless. A lot of the stuff written by and for teenagers these days won't be remembered next year, but the classics live on.

Considering that most of today's music sucks (here's the 30yo dude talking heheeh) it's cool to see a young girl looking for better choices. It doesn't surprise 'cause when I was that age I was (and still am) into old stuff. Anyway, rock rules my life :D

No Honey I am 18 and I listen to 50's music on up! It is really much better then the rap music and crap they have today. No so much cussing and killing and all that. Tell the girl I said to keep Rocking!
