Would someone older than 25 want to go back to being a teenager?

What are teenage hormones?

Does everyone believe in teenage hormones? Why or why not?

Can a teenager stop him/herself from being moody? Why or why not?

When do teenagers mature and when do they first begin to "act on hormones"?

P.S. Most of these are in your opinion questions.

Did my son write this?
Maybe-but in order to be helpful...

I'm 43 and certainly don't want to be a teenager again. Too young to make all of the big decisions, to old to want to take advice from those who MIGHT know what they're talking about.

"Teenage hormones" are actually a surge in adult hormones. Specifically those having to do with reproduction. The term is used to refer to young folks getting all ansty and moody because they are not mentally mature enough to deal with what their body is throwing at them.

Yes-see above-it's science, luv.

You may not be able to stop yourself from being "moody"-but you can stop the negative actions that often come with the territory by diverting your attention from the mood. Call a friend, take a walk, read, play your favorite music or game. Or even-heaven forbid-talk to your parents!

Teenagers mature at about 35. Acting on hormones depends on how you were brought up and what your family values are. It also has a lot to do with how you view yourself. If you have good self esteem and care about your future-you will think twice before doing something that could negatively impact the course of the rest of your life.

Hope this helps!

U usuall hit the hormones when u turn around 13 years old.. Yes teenagers can become hormonal. For females its especially around the time they have thier period. Being on the pill can help that. somewhat...... U feel it when u get moody. Im almost 27 and i dont wanna go back that far.. I did some stupid things when i was younger. everyone has moody times. no one is perfect. when u start to feel the moodiness and the changes in your body. just means u are growing

I would go back to being a late tennager, like 17. That was cool.

Your body is changing and causing your hormone to get all screwy.

You can stop yourself from being moody with medication but you don't want that.

Teenagers mature when they are ready. You start thinking differently. You start putting your responsibility before your fun. All that adult, grown up stuff.

Dude, as awkward as it is being a teenager, those are the best days of your life. No responsibility, no worries about paying the rent, no worries about your health. Dude, live it up. You're only young once. Have fun now before the weight of the world crushes your spirit.

i would never, ever go back to being a teenager!

i believe that everyone believes in teenage hormones because we've all been there, we've all gone through those years.

can a teenager stop being moody? haha i know i couldn't! but it's really up to them to make that change within themselves.

maturity level varies from person to person. there's no specific age that people begin to act on hormones or reach a certain level of maturity.

no.

when you hit puberty and your hormones are hard to control.

i don't, i believe in educating your child to understand why they are feeling the way they are and why they shouldn't act on those feelings.

it's a phase they go through, can you stop a 2 yr old from being moody?

teenagers don't mature until well into there 20's, but it's different for everyone.
