I live in Ohio and I want to relocate to a larger city with more opportunities for an educated single woman who is really just getting started her career. Some of the things I am considering are:

1. The best cities for 20/30-something (I am right in the middle at 29) single(hetero) woman?
2. Best cities for interracial dating? (where is it most prevalent and most accepted)
3. Most diversity? Good place for minorities and international people to live?
4. Median standard of living (not too high, not too low).
5. Is there any place with more straight men than straight women?
6. Lots to do culturally/night life/educationally?
7. Career opportunities for a recent graduate (BA)

Maybe I am looking for a utopian place that doesn't exist!!! (LOL) But if you know of any suggestions please tell me! I am so bored and stifled here... Although I am thinking about starting grad school in the Fall I don't know if I can take it anymore!

Or suggest a site where I can do some research!

Are you kidding me?? You can't find a town with eligible male heterosexual bachelors from 25-35??

Home girl, you'd best just concentrate on the business end. The ads looking for dates in most towns are 3-1 males 20-45 looking for young ladies just like you. And as long as you don't pick a town like San Francisco, Pensacola or Key West, there will be nearly all straight men. Are you going exclusively to the dance clubs, Starbucks and theater to find men? Most of the best men are already working or busy doing something they love.

As for the interracial part, why pigeon hole your Mr. Right? That's utopianism. It's his behavior and care, not his skin you want. Are you ruling out "rednecks"? You'd be surprised what skills men get from living in the country besides punching dogies. I grew up hard on a ranch, and have had a diversified 20-year IT career started with the military.

Now I'm just a white suburbanite male, recently divorced, working in Las Vegas and looking for Ms. Right myself. I feel I'm one of zillions. Take care and good luck wherever you go.

Boy, that's tough. I live in the Phoenix area, and it has a couple of your requirements - good diversity (most people are from someplace else, and many from CA, plus a grad school on the North side that 1/3 of the student body is international) - median standard of living - good career opportunities.

There are not a lot of things around Phoenix that are exciting to tourists, but there's a lot to do, including a symphony, some theatres, and many concerts and games of all sports. There are also many clubs and restaurants, but you'll need to know where to go to find what you like. There's also water parks and miniature golf courses, laser tag arenas and sophisticated arcades.

I like it here, I think it's a nice place to live, even if it's not glamourous. You can find anything if you know where to look, and it's a 6 hour drive each to Vegas, LA, and San Diego if you want to get away.

Well now that is quite the list of requirements. Whats the list of requirements for Mr. Right?

Ohio has quite a variety of good sized, reasonably priced towns and one of the largest populations in the US. Are you in rural OH or just sick of it for some reason?

OK....beyond that....Chicago is a good idea except for the COL part. I'm afraid when you get into the top 10 US metro areas or the coasts, cost of living is an eye opener.

I would look into places like: Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Cleveland, St. Louis, Nashville, Minneapolis, Des Moines.

Obviously the Midwest is not the only place to look but that is my experience.

Jacksonville, Florida. Truly offers all of the above IMO, and it's steadily a growing and booming economy. Best wishes.
