Are the Italians and the Irish at each other's throats like they are in US major cities (NY, Chicago, Boston etc.)?
This is meant to be like organized crime wise, mobsters and gang wars.... not on the micro level of neighbours... Just a question

This is a fair question to ask in a "history" discussion site. The answer is no, for a couple of reasons. Canada did not have as much organized crime as early on as did the United States. But maybe more to the point is that Irish ethnicity developed in a different way in Canada. Our Irish were not as aggresively Irish as were Irish Americans. That can be seen in the lack of support for the Fenians. Also, because Protestant Irish immigration was so important this made Irish identity politics more complicated. In fact the most serious Irish violence in 19th century Canada was between Catholic and Protestant Irish.
