The ignorance of some people is astounding! There are no tigers native to Africa. There are probably some in zoos that have been imported from Asia where they are endemic. There are, however, lions and leopards in Africa and Asia and there are cheetahs in western Asia as well as Africa.

tigers do not live in africa outside of captivity. their size and hunting strategy puts them at a significant disadvantage against other african predators. however, there are lions in asia. go figure
