Hey, i am taking walmart prenatal vitamins, the brand is Spring Valley, i haven't had any morning sickness yet, thank god. I thought that these were great because they come with 100 pills for about $4.99. Plenty of folic acid and iron, (among other nutrients and vitamins. Just wondering if anyone heard anything bad about these?

nope but you mite want to get these pills theyre called " LIPIL" the brand is "EXPECTA" they are a omega 3 fat supplement with a extra boost of iron and folic acid to suppost the baby's brain and heart and eye growth. Its just a supplement you take along with your prenatals. I used them then ran out but they make you feel 70% better rather than just taking the prenatals alone. I do not knpw the price of them because I just had sample packs from the doctor. But I have coupons so Id assume they are sold over the counter . Just a suggestion

I've taken the Spring Valley vitamins for years, so when my gyn said Prenatals because we were trying, that is what I got. I've been using them and haven't had a problem. I tried some samples from my doc and there were a couple of those varieties made me ill. I'll stick with the cheap ones!!! =-)

I used them with both of my children. But I did take them to my Dr. to let him decide if they were OK. I didn't have any problems. The ones the Dr. prescribed had way to much Iron in them and caused me to stay sick. My Dr. said they were fine as long as I was taking some sort of Prenatal Vitamin.

I bought those and felt like crap on them! I ended up gettin a prescription vitamin, my co pay is only 10 for generics, so it was worth it too me. My doc told me those Walmart vitamins I had weren't enough to support my body, and boy I felt a HUGE difference when I got on the Rx ones!

I have not heard anyting bad. My doctor told me to just make sure there are certain amounts of each thing in the pills and whatever brand you take should be fine. She gave me a list of what to have and not have and this list matched what they have in the book, "what to expect while expecting".

I've taken them for the past 20 months and am just fine. My son is healthy, and I think they're great. If you're not confident in them, you can probably ask for free samples of really, really good ones at your doctor's office. Otherwise, I think it's great that you're taking one at all! Good luck to you!

I have not heard anything bad, but you never know with all the things that are coming up that is wrong with things us buy, you can never know for sure about anything, but if they are working for you now and not causing any problems, then i would say use them.

The only thing I would worry about is how well your body can absorb them. Capsules absorb better than tablets. If your body just passes the pill right through, then you are not getting much from them.....
