Ok I'm trying to find out about a couple of things. I'm 22, live in NYC, my dream is in the film business (acting/writing, etc), I have a completed script I'm showcasing at the moment, however it is a hard business to break into so I'm also working on a "back-up plan" in case things take too long of don't go as planned -- Business Administration or Medical Billing.

I like Medical Billing because you can take that for just 1-2 years and start making $35K +, but I also love Business Admin cuz there's a lot more flexibility as the degree is generic but they say you need a BACHELORS in it to really get anything out of it. Maybe if I was 18 or 19, I wouldnt mind studying something for 4 years, but I'm 22 and don't wanna waste 4 years studying a high end degree while making $12-$15 an hour at some non-degree job, you feel me? Gotta get into the $20s + an hour, thats the only way to live. Is it possible to start an associates degree work while u finish the other 2 years?

Even if you were 30 I'd recommend getting your Bachelors... it just opens so many doors for you. You might try actually working for a company that will PAY for your Bachelor's degree... large companies will reward your education with promotions and, of course, more salary. Here's something to really think about... what would make you happier IN THE LONG RUN?
