What do you think the different diamond shapes say about the wearer?

For example, do you think sophisticated women prefer a certain shape of diamond while more family oriented women prefer another shape? I am not trying to make fun of anyone's preferred cut of diamond - I am really just curious to see if anyone has any opinions about the different shapes out there. I am curious about everyone's opinion about all diamond shapes if you have one.

ajsarabi - no I do not have diamond envy - I have a one carat diamond (not saying which shape) but was just bored and wanted to start up a cool conversation.

Round cut - the wearer is the type of person who thinks "classics never die". Round-cut diamond wearers have simple, elegant style

Princess cut - since these are more expensive to produce, the wearer likes fine, expensive things, and the name of the cut could also describe the person wearing it. Beware: could also be something of a diva.

Marquise cut - lovely cut, and makes the fingers look longer. The wearer may be a hopeless romantic (especially if they know the story behind the Marquis cut stone)

Trillion cut - Cool, modern and different. Not many people have this type of cut stone. The wearer likes different things and has a quirky sense of style and humor.

Oval cut - old-fashioned type of person; tradition is very important to the wearer. To me, oval cut stones remind me of cameo jewelry (ovals) and antique estate jewelry and they are very old-world style accessories.

if I like the ring i just think the person wearing it has good taste and if I dislike it I think the wearer has bad taste. Some shapes may point to a more feminine person and more flashy --but that's ok. Older more mature people tone it down a bit. Wierd shapes like skulls might show a more rebellious side to a person as opposed to a star then I would think the wearer is more of a romantic

I like a 1 carat diamond solitaire (round) for the engagement ring. And the 3-stone (past, present, future) diamond band for the wedding ring.

if you have a butterfly or something like that it means you are a different person and likes to express who you are. circles are usually the classic and popular ones. triangles mean your ambitous and determined......something like that but you really can't say who you are with a single mineral.
