Of course i agree and any pet lover should agree too, I mean how does RAT POISONING get into dog and cat food?? They should definitely check it before give Innocent animals food, especially since it is a large company! I highly disagree with testing on animals, but they must be able to find another way to check the food for anything that could be wrong! Just think- we put our pets life's in their hands, and when something like this happens.......... well, its just bad all around! I mean there are millions of things that can go wrong in dog food making, bad meat, moldy containers, bad plastic containers/pouches.... and people like to think that you buy the food, it will be fine, but when this happens it may shine the light on some people and bring them back down to earth...There isn't much we can do though, its not like have a 'dog food o'matic" in our own backyards, and no one is ever safe or is going to be safe from bad food. It happens but we have to trust the retail to come back to earth too, and spend more time on making the food and checking the food. But people who's pets have died probably will not agree (i don't blame them either!) with giving them another chance.....
But just think, we can put them on a diet of meat from stores, and other ingredients, but who knows if that is safe?? We cant starve our pets, so we are going to have to find a way around this problem one way or another.......

Menu Foods manufactures many foods for various brands. This particular tainted ingredient is not used in all brands. To boycott all foods from this plant would be unfair.

Totally. Everyone took their word that their product was safe, just how many pets were killed? Or almost died? Time they learn a lesson in the only place that seems to matter - their pocket.
