any of the LM Montgomery books starting with Anne of Green Gables - i think those are 7th grade appropriate, i'm also not sure if they're 300+ pages.
Jules Verne's "Around the World in 80 Days" is good too or "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea"
Brian Jacques Redwall as well as Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" are both good, and anything by Dickens is good too - depending on how complicated or advanced you want to get

The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones. It's wonderful and full of fantasy! 320 pages. I hope I helped and you like the book!

My 15yr old daughter recommends INK HEART, the next in the series is INK SPELL. She loved them and knows they are 7th grade appropriate.
