They feel as though they have to be in control, and one way to do that is to give us a dozen jobs at once. I often ask my wife, when she is giving me another task, if I should finish the first three or immediately move on to the new directive. But just try to line out a list of things for her to do, and she will have your head on a platter for suggesting that she isn't working hard enough around the house.

Depends on what those 6 jobs are!~! Are they all she asks like: the trash, the garage to the curb, locking up, put your dirty clothes in the hamper, wash your beard out of the sink and spray the air freshener when you leave the bathroom. Are they simple considerate jobs like that? Johnny Walker?? Be Honest!!! Hmmmmmmm???

LOL.
Guess she thinks you are Superman!
It was usually the other way round. Man expected wives to do a dozen tasks at one time.

My wife does that, too. I am one of those people that wants to finish one project and then move on to the next. They just work differently.

It's called multi-tasking. Some poeple are good at it. Some people not so good. It's something you would have to come to an agreement and understanding about with her.
