They are, it's just hard to use them as you're talking on the phone, sending a fax, picking your nose, drinking your coffee, applying make up, flipping the bird, reloading your gun, etc. I think you get the idea now.

Oh i know, the elderly around my town are the worse. I especially hate it when they get to where they are turning, slow way down to an almost stop, THEN turn. Grrr...really steams my engine...

I have seen several models that now come with the handy never goes off feature... so you can be in a perpetual state of ... possibly turning left!

no one uses turning signals anymore...then you have to slam on your brakes when they suddenly turn! its even worse when they yell at you for almost hitting them! at least old people go really slow so you have some time to brake! ;)

i don't know why they don't use them. i think people honestly do not know how to turn them on in new vehicles or they are just too lazy. i agree with you. good luck.
