I took expectra for a month. Then my ob-gyn told me that they were the same thing as fish oil capsules, which were a lot less expensive. I started taking those instead and now have a bouncy 8 month old who has yet to even get the sniffles.

My OB prescribed me Stuart Prenatal Duet DHA, but my insurance only covers the generic brand CareNatal DHA. It has the same exact ingredients so it doesn't matter to me. I did start out on Expecta for the 1st month and that was fine too. I like what my ob prescribed though because it comes in a dual pack that has a prenatal vitamin and a DHA gel capsule.
