Whatever people may say, don't get a phone just because of the music quality. Sony Ericsson is good for this but they are not worth a lot. Fancy buying a new phone and 2-3 months later its only £100. as you are looking for a generally good phone, I would recommend a Nokia. They are easy to use, the music quality is good (no matter what people say) and most of them look stylish. Also, they don't phase out as easily as a Sony. I have a few phones, one of the most recent being the nokia 7373. Its literally a fashion icon but it has everything you need and could want on a phone
Good luck searching
P.S Don't listen to them people who said the RAZR is the best phone. the camera quality is swag and the phone is worth £20!
They only say this is a good phone because this is all they can afford!

The nokia n73 is a cracking phone. Its like a computer in a phone. The camera is a 3.2mp with a carl zeiss lens. The music player is top notch, it uses symbian series 60 ver3 being a smart phone, syncing with a pc is very easy making transferring music and photos a breeze. If download opera mini it makes browsing the mobile internet a very enjoyable experience (subject to data charges).
I also have a Samsng d900 its ultra slim looks stylish being a slider phone, its screen is very good, the camera is 2.0mp and takes half decent pics.

Hi. my personal favourite make has got to be Nokia. I have had a few different makes and I have always gone back to nokia everything about the phone is easy to use it all feels natural. You dont have the music playing potential but every one has an mp3 player now any way. The camera on my N73 is great really clear. This is all my personal opinion though.
hope this helps Leon m

I can pretty much reccomend any 3G phone. If you have a low budget then the Sony Ericcson v610i is good but if money isn't a problem for you then the Nokia N73 is a good option.

Razrs are crap! Get a Treo 700P and really have the ability to do everything on your phone -- 1st and foremost make a phone call with clarity. Also stream audio/video, EVDO, 3rd party app support, PDA functions, Palm OS, MP3 player, 1.3Mp digital camera/video recorder. I can even use my freakin Treo as a remote control. Come onnn.....

Sony ericsson phones are best. Do not get Nokia as they are having problems with their phones at the moment.
