it is politics as usual.
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." [H. L. Mencken]

I'm going to echo the other people: people don't believe it's true. Yes there's evidence, and scientific experiments have been conducted to determine if there is Global Warming (and they've shown positive signs). But a lot of people just don't want to believe it because it's a very scary subject
Heck, I have one friend who's adamant there is no such thing. He says Volcanoes and other natural disasters cause more damage than humans, which I also believe is true. But it's not like natural disasters can't cause Global Warming or that people shouldn't be responsible for pollution...

Because of people like the first two imprudent idiots that first answers by saying that it doesn't exist.
Global warming is VERY real, or would you all like to take a nice stroll on the MELTING CRYOSPHERE. Look into climatology and educate yourselfs before making the assumptions that something is a hoax. What's happening to the artic and antarctica, the explosive changes in temperature and weather, how about the snow that USED to be on kilimanjaro?
It's people not being educated that keeps others from knowing and caring.

People need to investigate more before opening their mouths, if they new some facts they would not say what they do, for over a decade now the weather in the north has changed so much that towns in Russia are sinking because of the melt of perma frost, that alone is proof of what is happening, there is alot more proof than that but I don't feel I need to explain it all here.. Iam very convinced and thats all I need...there allways will be skeptics....

Because the global warming religious zealots care TOO much. They are not willing to explore both sides of the issue. They want to do something...anything...now, regardless of what that something might do to the world. There is a phenomenon call the "Law of Unintended Consequences."
Just look at a recent study that says the decline in usage of aerosols may be ADVERSELY affecting the climate. For those of you too young to remember, there was a massive environmentalist campaign many years ago that said we needed to cut down on our aerosol usage because it could hurt the atmosphere...The "Law of Unintended Consequences" in action.

Because we know that this man-made global warming thing is a huge hoax.
Ask the Martians what they're doing about THEIR global warming!

Its human nature. As animals we seek pleasure and avoid pain. People smoke, drink, and take drugs knowing the outcome. We won't sacrifice for some payoff 20 years after death? When we are floating on logs like rats we'll do something.

This Hollywood hoax has gone far enough ; and finally the number one snake-oil salesman Al Gore is being exposed for the hypocrite he is ..along with his other liberal partners in crime . Global warming is a natural climate change . Hollyweird can't influence weather either - just because they can make films .

My mom n dad say it was the same in the 70's and 80's so I guess it always will be until we either go extinct, or find out it's not a problem after all.
