I've been keeping track of what my teacher has been doing. She always stares at me, and when i catch her staring, she'll smile. She takes up for me most of the time if someone has something to say about me. One day she was teasing me for no reason. Sometimes, she tries to get into my business, i guess to get a more in depth view of me. Even her husband knows my name and stuff and knows who i am since he visited the school, but we were never introduced. One day, i went into her classroom, and she was talking on the phone with him, and she asked me a question, then she told her husband, " oh, i was just asking abby a question." Why does she act like this? Am i like a special person to her or what? I'm a girl by the way.

Sounds like she has a fond spot for you for whatever reason. Maybe you remind her of herself when she was your age? Or maybe you remind her of someone else she is fond of.

It could be that you're a chapter from her past. She could've lost a relative or a close friend, and you remind her so much of them. If this is the issue, then she's probably smiling at you, teasing you, and asking you about your life because that's what she did with her friend.
I don't think she has the hots for you since she's happily married to her husband and she told him about you.
And you probably are special. No worries though. That's a good thing. At least try to look at it that way.

I talk to my husband all the time about my students. I think there's technically a huge legal problem with it, but I can personally get away with it to an extent because my husband also teaches (so I'm just seeking advice from a colleague). Anyway, it would probably freak my students out to have him come in and know who they are, but it would be just that- he'd know who they are because I've talked about them. From what you're describing, it sounds like you're just one of the "good" kids that helps us teachers get through the day without losing our sanity. If you're normal, bright, and polite, you stand a good chance of being someone your teachers appreciate. Don't get me wrong- we appreciate SOMETHING in each one of our students. It's just nice to have a "normal" good kid around. I wouldn't read too much into it if I were you. It doesn't sound like she's hot for you or anything. :)

well, she might just like you as a person. what is wrong about that? May be she has a lot of brats around and you are the exception. Just relax. My husband also knows the names of some of my clever students and believe me - I am anything but interested in girls!

Well maybe your teacher admires you or maybe u remind her of somebody that she know. Or its probably means that she believes in you so much and think that u can succeed in life.

yes she might like you but that sounds like shes going a bit to far .teachers aren't allowed to discuss there students with other people and are not supposed to ask personal questions.i don't know................ i think its actually kind of strange for a teacher to be like that.....................
