My mother had a saying that I never understood until I got older. "Each generation grows wiser and weaker." Now I get it. We have all this technology, medical breakthroughs, people are living healthier and longer, but mankind as a whole still doesn't have good sense. We still have wars, murders, crime, abuse, violence, and it all seems to be getting worse. So, unfortunately, now I understand.

I definitely enjoy life more as I get older. I was all angsty and bitter and now I'm....well I'm still angsty and bitter, but I find so much more humor in everything.
I have more pastimes and I'm more connected to everything. I get involved and don't just sit on my butt.

If you're talking on a global perspective, things are getting better and worse at the same time. Technology is opening doors and experiences to us all. We are all more informed and able to take action on things...but more people are being exploited and trodden on for the benefit of a few. - It's up to us to change things...and I think that as we all become more aware (and we are becoming more aware) things will get better for everyone.

Life in general or my life?
In general:downhill with all those wars and violence
I age with grace and dignity:see the reasons why things are the way they are.
Still learn everyday
Even started learning Turkish:way weird?
No,because at least 35000 of Turkish people live in my town:many have shops:now i can talk to them.
Learn from them too.
My life is still getting better.
Sky.

I think in some ways life is improving. We have more advanced technology & medicine, which is good. On the other hand, it seems like good manners have gone out the window, along with correct spelling & grammar, too.

Well, the ice in Anartica is melting rapidly because of carbon dioxide emissions, causing sea levels to rise around the world. This could flood a lot of countries including parts of the U.S. and change world weather patterns from warm to cold in our lifetimes.

Well I think the earth is somewhat deteroriating around me in the larger picture...but if I can be selfish and think just in terms of my experience: life is constantly improving because I am constantly learning and experiencing new things.
