I probably agree abouve about the furs.

However in the days of the settlers or even around Jesus' time they would use rags down there and that's where eveything abuot "filthy rags" comes into play with different bible versus and jazz like that.

They weren't allowed to be around men or touch food that men ate. This had something to do with spirits.

i've wondered the same thing. i've heard of aboriginal woman using various plants. i suspect they did the same thing. or just dripped. cleanliness wasn't as issue back then.
