I think there are a lot of different factors involved. Age of person, where artwork (Tattoo) is, size, design, etc... I saw a young woman at the mall with lotus flowers tattooed all down her back and one shoulder. The flowers were pretty large but I have to admit it really looked very nice. I've seen other women with tattoos on their arms or legs that for some reason did not appeal to me, it wasn't the placement, but the over all design. I really don't care for tattoos on the face or hands, to me both of these locations have nothing to do with art, but pure rebellion. Bottom line in regards to tattoos is that it is a personal choice and the only person who has to be happy with it is the person it is put on.

It's not that I would dislike a woman with a tattoo. It is just I would feel very sad for them. Maybe her heart was in the right place when she got a tattoo to honor someone close who died, but I would fear her brain was not working very well, to be honest, and I would stay away from her since a tattoo is a huge "red flag" that something is wrong with her. Another reason I would wonder about her sense is that tattoos are ugly, nasty things, offensive to so many people. To get a tattoo to honor a dead person? In truth, you are insulting that dead person. It is like you are writing their name as graffiti on the side of a public building. Tattoos are an urban blight. They are ugly, like graffiti. Like graffiti, they lower the quality of the environment. Tattoos lower the quality of life for everyone who has to look at them, defacing the body of the person foolish or degraded enough to get one.

shouldn't be where they can't be covered by normal clothing
if the lady wants to tog out. But the butterfly on the back of
the shoulder or something small on the breast or nether
parts of the body is ok. Personally don't care for tattoos
on a woman (or man) that appears like a mural or complete
paint job. -

I do not like tattoos on hands ! Makes me cringe. I like a tattoo on the middle of the back for girls. I agree not tattoo on the sweet sisters. I think too many women get the lower back and looks tacky sometimes.

I mean If they want but I don't think a lot of tattoo's on a woman or man for that matter looks good. But it depends, I guess you can say. Some tattoo's don't look so bad and others do.

tattoos on women can be taste full and trashy,
i think a women should keep the tattoos feminine(sp) i have three all of which are girlie, i have Tinkerbell on my calf, a Chinese symbol on my shoulder and a shamrock on my lower stomach they all look very nice and all of them are very sexy all the guys i know that don't like tattoos love mine they are a turn on not a turn off for them but like i said they are girlie and they are placed in spots that are not always visible i have never been told i look trashy with my tats,
i think that women who have them all over are very cool looking but also trashy you have to think about the fact that you will probable never have a good job b/c everyone can see them and all tattoos are considered offensive in professorial places
i have been told that my Tinkerbell is offensive and it always has to be covered up to work in my office even though Tinkerbell is in no way offensive
so to each his own

It depends, If they are on the ankle, shoulder or someplace inconspicuous, it really doesn't bother me. I do not like sleeves or upper arm tats on a girl - it just looks so unfeminine and being a woman, I love femininity. I don't have any, either does my cute hubby, but I've often thought of getting one (small) somewhere only he could see it. :) If my daughter were to get one, I'd make her wait until she's on her own and sure about it & I'd hope it would be tasteful.

It depends on the location, the size, and the type of tattoo the person has on their body. As long as it is classy and tasteful, then it is alright.
