Don't get too hung up on the guides because they are only a starting point. It is more important to focus on what you want to study and select some potential schools where you might wish to attend.

The GO VISIT. There is nothing better than a visit to the campus to help you decide if you belong there. It isn't unusual that a school that seems great on paper just doesn't please you when you are actually there. When you do visit, try to give time for more than just the formal tours that most schools offer. Or come back a second time on your own. Talk to people: in the coffeeshop, in the library, in the bookstore, or outside classrooms where your program would be. Ask what they like/dislike about their school.

That will tell you way more about what is best for you than any general guide ever could. Good luck!
