Yes, please take her to the MD now! I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago. It was great! Minimal bleeding and pain. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days on pain meds then when I got home only took Tylenol. What she is experiencing is not normal. I hope she feels better!!

Yes....most definately! Get her to the Dr urgently (if you haven't already done so!) There should be NO vaginal bleeding after a hysterectomy and certainly not after 4 mths post-op.

Take her to a doctor!! Not normal. I didn't have a
hysterectomy but my mom and a few of my friends
have (enough to know that this is not normal).

Take her to see the doctor or to the local ER right away, if she can't get an appointment. I developed an infection from an internal stitch that didn't dissolve like it should have .
My symptoms were pretty much the same.
Go right away to get her checked out.

The crying part is normal, if they removed her ovaries, too, she will have emotional mood swings until her hormones regulate themselves. The bleeding part, maybe she should call the doctor.
