I have twin boys(Zack and Kyle, Age 12) and they recently asked for money to buy new skateboards. i told them they had to earn the money. so what do they do, fake my signature, dress Kyle up like a girl and enter him into the Junior Miss South Lake Beauty Pageant. i don't know whether i should be laughing or mad. he didn't win, but i'm still speechless. i asked them where they got the idea for it and they said they saw it on a tv show called "the suite life of zack and cody". should i punish them? we'll probably look back on this one day and laugh, but right now it's a little hard to do that. i still can't believe what they did.

I think this is really funny. They are quite creative.
Punish them for??? Did they hurt someone?
If they did something you told them not to (like go downtown) in the process, then I can see punishing them for that. I can't believe you would have forbid them to enter a beauty contest though.

That is funny, I realize of course it's not so funny to you right now but what kids see on Television can influence their outlook on things and dressing his brother up as a girl entering a contest is not abnormal behavior for boys especially brothers who are twins. It's like they think more alike and or in like mind. I am sorry they lost for if I was the judge I would have given them some prize for courage and creative thinking. I don't think you have anything to be concerned about and if you want my opinion I would laugh now as it's pretty funny that that is what they came up with and it didn't do anyone any real harm. Boys will be boys, I have raised one son and another families boy so I know that boys have strange minds.

hey they did what you told them, find a way to earn the money...and i do realize that they should not follow a role model from tv land.
do not punish them...no one was hurt...maybe you are a little embarrased....but you can't always control what your kids do...point proven!!!
but do sit them down and explain that becuase jojo the clown jumps off of the bridge, don't jump too...and tell them that you appreciate their creativity...but next time to really think something through before doing it...and if they aren't sure...that's what you are there for...ask you if it is a good idea, not Zach and Cody

HA HA HA HA that was and is still my reaction I think that is AWESOME your kids are that smart what does there mom say ? I think it is great good for them lol BUT I do have one question how did they get the money to enter this pageant there not cheap?

Some punishment is due for faking your signature. But your "junior miss" deserves points for his self-confidence! Few boys would be caught dead in a dress and wig!

I got a chuckle out of it! I would praise them for creativity, but guide them on safety issues, and suggest to them, better communication, because you love them, and do not wish them to make a silly mistake, that might be a bad one. And I do hope you look back, and really all get a nice laguh out of it! And Kudos for being a concerned DAD!,,,,,,,,,, ( and maybe be glad he did not actually win, over the girls??)

theres lots ways they can earn money b side pageants but theres pageant out there 4 little boys and men but your boy sould get a job arould the house.

that's really funny. Why should you punish them? Where they harming anyone? what your son did shows that he possess a comedian side to him. Ever think of stand up comedy?
