Does anyone one how much a job at a retail job at a store in Michigan pays? Like a cashier at a dept. store or clothing store. I used to work in as a bank teller, but I can't seem to find a job in that arena right now. I have applied to other random jobs here and there, but times are tough right now in MI, so I am thinking about just going to the mall and finding something there. I am asking this though, because I want to know if the pay is even worth it, before I waste my time applying. Any other ideas are welcome...

Sorry about the typos, I'm usually really good about that! I promise I'm not that ignorant. ;)

Minimum Wage, and a dozen people waiting in line for it. I had to move to Ohio for work. Michigan's economy and unemployment don't seem to follow Bush's economic recovery talks now do they.

go to michigan works or try manpower in you area.good luck with that most retail stores do not pay very well.i guess it depends on if you are supporting yourself or do you live home with mom and dad and just want some spending money.also consider how far you drive to work and how many hours you will work per day then you will know if its worth it.good luck.

Dont' do retail. Don't be dumb. Go get a job bartending or serving food. Lie on your resume. You'll pick it up in two days. You'll make twice as much.
