This girl is lonely and she has no life. I did nothing to her. Everybody else likes me except for her. She is a co-worker. She even talks to the boss bad about me.

she is probably playing the push/pull thing. when you show you aren't in to someone. they try to push you away so you will try to pull your way back in . people do it all the time. some say it works. I don't play games but I have had more than my share played on me. when she pushes you away, you sense it and try to get closer. if you are as stubborn as me, I just say see ya. it's been real and it's been fun but it hasn't been real fun. it doesn't create closeness like some would hope, it only creates hostility. the problem with games is if you trap someone with a game such as your, you have to continue playing to keep them. you will never be close or friends because that element of distance has to remain there.
you have to keep doing what you are doing to keep them.

Have you ever heard the phrase that 'hate is wounded love'? I think that applies in this case. No human is going to waste such strong emotion on another human for no apparent reason. The other posts are correct. Either you are a threat to her, you remind her of someone else she hates (doubt this too) or she admires you and you aren't paying enough attention to her. You said that everyone else likes you, well maybe that is the problem. Maybe SHE wants to be the person that 'everybody likes'.
Another theory is that some people are "fighters for the underdog" and when they see someone on top who everyone likes, they seek to balance all that love out with some hate.

You may in her mind be a threat, and maybe she really doesn't like you. So who cares, everybody is not going to get alone with everybody so live with it.

Do you really think she's the only part of the problem here? I mean after all: You think she really likes you, and that everybody else likes you, and that she has no life.
That kind of attitude is not exactly appealing to most people.

if she does like you she obviousely doesn't want you to know if. i don't know the detailed situation and i can't speak for her. but if she does like you and she's pretending that she doesn't she's basically scared. you should just talk to her, be honest and respectful. talk it out, work it out.

she's hiding her true feelings for you and trying not to let you guess it. she needs a friend like you.
