I lived in the Provance of La Union on the island of Luzon from 1970 to 1975, I was 15 to 20 years old at that time and have found a varity of this currancy that had been put away I know of the hardships that the Japanese had caused and hate to have to ask this of you. Peso...sounds more Spanish than Japanese.

The Phillipines were a Spanish colony at some point, weren't they? I mean, I don't know when they got their independence.

I don't think pesos are Japanese.

I'm confused.
