yes,.. Its suupose to be the hops in the beer that helps with production.
Fenugreek tea also works very well, and tastes interesting.

Just remember there is still alcohol in most of the 'non-alcoholic beers' such as O'Douls. My grandpa was kicked out of rehab for being intoxicated off o'douls of course he would drink SEVERAL at a time but the councelors told my grandma they still had alcohol in them. But if you are not worried about your child ingesting alcohol then drink away. I also read that alcohol actually reduces milk production. It was thought because the babies sucked for longer there was more milk but in actualality there was less milk making them suck longer for more. The fenugreek didn't work for a couple friends of mine and I have never heard of non-alcohol beer used to increase milk production. But I would reccomend drinking lots of water and pumping every couple hours or so since breastmilk is supply and demand.

I live in a town in Oregon that is very very pro-breast feeding, to the point that a new mom feels highly pressured to do so... but I also see alot of women with babies drinking pints of beer, and everyone told me to drink a beer because I didn't have enough milk coming in. It worked, and didn't harm my daughter.
Obviously, you want to drink with caution, and don't go overboard.

You can drink that o'douls or just a regular beer. If its regular just drink it right after a feeding so it will be out by the next time. You can take those fenugreek tabs or get mothers milk tea also.

No, but my mother drank one REAL beer a day when she was breast feeding me. I'm sure it is the hops though, so non-alcoholic beer may be the **correct** answer.
