Burn out..bcuz fading away is too hard to take...fading away is like being forgotten before you´ve even left, fading away is like your soul giving into despair...so just personally, i´d prefer to burn out, given the choice, cuz even though its painful too, at least i would be able to burn up till the last moment.

Burn out. Partly cause i'm a pyro and 'burn"is appealing second because people remember more when you go out with a bang. If you fade away then you are forgotten

I spent two decades trying to burn out and survived "whew"! Now it looks as though I'll be fortunate enough to just fade away.
