NOW IT WAS NOT VICIOUS....just they had said it wrong...BUT THE PERSON SAYS TO ME...'OH, NO DON'T DO THAT!"....I SAID i was always taught to go to the source to clear it up...she just walked away...I went up to the source...and straightened it out...it was fine...WHY DIDN'T THE GIRL WANT ME TO CLEAR IT UP???

Probably b/c they didn't want their name brought up in the conversation and didn't want to be labeled as a gossiper. Also, b/c of the false statement, she may have felt that the other person told her that statement in confidence. She may feel that the other person would consider her a blabbermouth and would never divulge other information to her. Or she probably just thought it would start a fight over something she felt was petty. I'm guessing that she didn't want to cause a conflict between the 3 of you.

she is probably some drama queen c**t who likes to stir s**t up for no good reason other than her own enjoyment, be carefull about confrontation; she may believe she is now a victim which might incure you alot more of a problem, which could very much be her goal

I have no idea...maybe she just didn't want a big fight between you two to get started. Was she the one who told you? Maybe she didn't want you telling the other girl that she was the one that told you.
