Hmmm, well it could be a cost cutting measure. They figure that those darn kids are already getting a crappy toy......and they want cookies too?? Or, it's an image thing and apples and milk look like better options as part of a Happy Meal. Not a very "happy meal" if you ask me ;)

I labored for McDonald's for 2 years while i replaced into youthful. those days, the containers are in basic terms for specific promotions. maximum popularly, for the ever generic warm wheels/barbie merchandising. it would sound quite callous, yet i individually prefer the baggage. as plenty because of the fact the swap is a value reducing degree, it is likewise a time saver. it would be straightforward to love the containers, yet maximum human beings at McDonald's are watched like hawks while it includes their force-via cases. the baggage are plenty extra undemanding to get waiting than the containers are, and that they shop approximately 2 or 3 seconds consistent with happy meal order interior the force-via. After approximately 2 minutes on the window, the managers oftentimes start up harping in the event that they do their interest, so each 2nd counts.

I worked for a McDonald's in San Angelo, TX about 10 years ago. They quit putting the little bitty packages of cookies in Happy Meals about a year or 2 before I quit. They started selling larger bags separately.

The corporate Bean Counter from IL. sneaks into every McDonald's store at night and takes them out of the Happy Meal boxes. Then, each year, he redeems them in at the annual stockholders meeting for a bonus increase, while millions of children are crying, "Why didn't I get my cookies Mommy?"

this is an interesting question, I work in MacDonald as manager and most stores still order the cookies but don't sell it or put it in the happy meals. usually what they do is to give it away on special occasion -i.e. Halloween, Easter, and maybe on Christmas -.

I have to ask you why you still order Happy Meals? Those are for little kids, and were never meant to be eaten by bigger kids or adults.

I think they were deemed unhealthy for children. May have also been an extra cost that didn't mesh well for business. Think about it. The toys you now get are an advert and McDonalds probably makes money that way.
Just my opinion..
