If had a choice between doubling your income or spending six extra hours a week with your child which one would you pick?

It's not the quantity of time you spend with a child, it really is the quality.

I think I already spend good quality time - so I'd go for the money.

Stan W's comment is right! Research has shown it's not the amount of time that you spend with your child that is beneficial, it's the QUALITY of time. There are plenty of working parents who may not spend as much time with their children compared to moms or dads who stay at home, but they make up for it by spending time with their children doing things together. So, go for the money and don't feel guilty as long as you make the effort to spend time with your child doing activities together and having meals, etc...

Definetly spend 6 extra hrs.quality time with my child.
Life is short........before you know it they are all grown up and gone.
Cherish every second you have with them now while you are able to
Money cetainly isn't everything.

double income. doesn't say i spend less time with my kids, and will be able to save enough to do really fun things with them when we are toghter. plus if i save enough i can quit my job and spend all day with them.
