My first vote goes to The Cardigans' "Sunday Circus Song" ( from the European edition of their awesome album 'LIFE' or the bonus disc on the American version of 'Emmerdale').

...but I'll also put in a good word for Mike Patton's (of Faith No More) self-titled "Mr. Bungle" CD from 1991 as some of the most freaked-out circus-themed music ever ... especially the first song, 'Quote Unquote'.

Lots of Insane Clown Posse tunes..
otherwise

Clown Strike - Elvis Costello
Rambozo the Clown- Dead Kennedy's
Pocket of a Clown - Dwight Yokem
Tears of a Clown - Smokey Robinson
Cathy's Clown- Everly Brothers

...most not really about Circus clowns though.

I listen to anything. Why would I miss out on a good song just because the genre is something I'm not used to? That's pretty ignorant. People should experiment. Sticking to one thing is never fun.

That sounds like a job for... the Internet Archive!
Also, though you may not find it there, "The Entertainer" is always a classic.
