After making a mistake, I tell myself, I'll never make that mistake again. But after a while, I make that exact same mistake and I ask myself, what the hell happened? Later on, I make the same mistake again. What's wrong with me?

because you haven't learned from them. you recognize you need to do something but for some reason you aren't willing to change. until you wise up and really want to change you will continue to do the same stupid things over and over again and continue to hurt yourself and others.

Are we talking a mistake like you keep miscalculating your checkbook? Or is this about you feeling like you keep doing the same thing with people or in a relationship?

If it's the first.... Get a tutor or a mentor to help you learn.

If it's the second.... You are probably playing out a personal drama based upon your individual psychology. To fix that, you're going to have to do some soul searching and take a good look at yourself.

With more details, maybe we could offer better advice.

I think we all keep making the same mistakes, in different forms. We all try to learn from our mistakes, and we do.. We learn it hurts. We learn it was our fault. We learn how to get over it. But most people, no matter what they say, never learn how to prevent it from happening again. It's just like a bad habit. If you've done it once, you'll probably do it again. Just give it time and eventually it'll stop happening, or you'll stop noticing/caring as much. Good luck kiddo. :]

Because we are only Human. Take a breathe. You are not a bad person for making the same mistake. You will learn just take your time and think.

As humans we find comfort and security in routine, making it easy to repeat the same patterns again and again. I've also read that there is a lesson to be learned in the errors of our ways. If you miss the lesson you are bound to repeat the same mistakes.

you need to deal with why you are making the mistake instead of just saying you'll never do it again...you need to go to the root of the problem ans fix it there and once you've done that then your all set...when you say i'll never do that again you really just push the promblem to the side trying to forget it but some how knowing tit will reoccure

Everyone makes mistake weather we like it or not....nothing is wrong with you in my eyes, or in anyone Else's I would think...i make many mistakes too it is totally normal....i bet you feel like you just keep messing up with everything and if you make one person happy someone else isn't happy with that decision, but the truth is EVERYONE makes mistakes, that is just how it is. Don't get down on yourself....I feel your pain. :)

You haven't learn anything from these mistakes, remind your self that this has happen , write your self notes, depending on what you keep doing, if you don't want it to happen again then you have to keep it fresh in your mind.

You may be telling yourself either consciously or unconsciously that it will happen again. Try telling yourself it will never happen again and really believe it this time. Focus on what you want to happen, not on what you don't want to happen ... otherwise, you will draw more of the same to you, over and over again. See this and it will stop.

PERHAPS you are viewing this at a wrong perspective.
What helps me in many situations is to view the setting from a HOW DO I WANT A DIFFERENT OUTCOME from this situation? (What can I do to change it?) Once I know where (different) I want to go, I take every effort to to reach that different goal. And WHALAH! I have arrived at my new chosen destination! :-)
