no they shouldn't because with all the talent in this draft they could very well end up with teddy ginn or dwayne jarrett, but will probably end up with dwayne bowe anyway.

This has several reactions from me....
1. The Eagles cannot afford to trade high enough to pick up Calvin. What a hype magnet he is! Does everyone really know he's the next Marvin Harrison or Darrell Jackson? What if he's the next Mike Williams or David Boston?
2. The Eagles need defense to win, not offense in this draft.
3. With a talent-laden draft like this, the Eagles should look to trade DOWN, not up. Get more players of high caliber, not just one of nuclear caliber and live with the usual assortment at every other position.

They dont have enough ammunition to trade up for the #1 pick. Everyone keeps asking questions like this but Calvin Johnson is going #1 Al Davis loves this kid. The Raiders will just address their qb problem before or after the draft. Like David Carr or Dante Caulpepper. Unless they want to give up McNabb the trade isnt going to happen (even then I dont know if the Raiders would take it).

It would be a hard trade for them to pull off. They would have to give up some serious talent, and it's likely that Meachem and possibly Jarrett would be around by the time it was the Eagles pick.

It would take to much for them to get that high of a pick.. if they REALLY REALLY want a wide out to help Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown then I would try to get Robert Meachem or Dwayne Jarrett, if they are there... Dave Ball in the later rounds out of University of New Hampshire would be a good choice too... he isnt too fast, about 6 foot 2, 210 lbs and runs like a 4.6.... BUT he runs really good routes and makes some insane catches, my uncle goes to UMass and he saw him play in person and said he is insane.... Makes crazy catches, fights for the ball like no one else and plays his heart out...
he could be this years Marques Colston, or maybe just maybe, like .0000000000082930000000000011111 chance he could be the next Jerry Rice

explain how this trade would even be possible. and no, there are plenty of other good recievers in this round to give up so much (they'd have to give up A LOT) to get Calvin Johnson. What about Dwayne Bowe or Robert Meachem, or DAVID BALL!!!!!

No. Which ever team gets him, wont let him go. Too bad the Eagles lost Stallworth to the Pats!!

you'd have to trade up to #4 to get him and thats almost impossible....unless you trade McNabb and your first round pick.
