OK, Here's the deal. My best friend (ill call her "A") will not even talk to me if "K" is around. "K" is "A"'s friend. It feels so wierd. Now, I am constantly coming home, going to my room, and crying. I don't understand why she does this. "A" will only talk to me when "K" is not around. What do I do? and How do I tell "A" how I feel? Please Help Me!

She's still nice to me. and I'm not ready to end my friendship with her. If our friendship did end, I would be so miserable for a very long time.

If anybody knows why she is doing this, do tell.

All I need is to have "A" talk t ome when "K" is around.

Plz, do not tell me that I need to find new friends.
I can't do that. I can't not call her a friend. I need her.

You sound like you are the friend of convience! You need to stand up for yourself, if "A" is embaressed by your presence than "A" is not worth having as a friend.
A true friend loves you and respects you for who you are. They still talk to you in the presence of another friend even if that friend doesn't like you.
Maybe you shouldn't hang around "A" when "K" is there, get yourself a "K" friend.

A is a ***** and K probably doesn't like you much, which would then make a weak A not talk to you to keep an image. For a best friend, I think you can do a lot better, especially because best friends are supposed to be there and stand up for you no matter what. Just ditch her and find a friend that will accept you as you are in front of anyone.

Perhaps no one talks to A unless you are there, and K talks to her because she is approached first. This person is not your best friend. Ask her why she does that and perhaps she will be able to give you a good answer, but I doubt it. Look around you there are lots of people to talk too. You just have to maike the right choice as to whether they believe in the same moral characters you do. Stay strong and be a leader.

i have friends like this to so heres wat i think happened. K for some reason has a problem with you if not her then a friend of hers. but she still likes A. K is telling A that she shouldnt talk to you because she has a problem with you. A still wants to talk to you but cant when K is around because she thinks shell K will get mad at her.

What I did was tell my friend that it was bothering me and i still really want to be my her friend but i cant talk to her enough she understood and now she talks to me more.

My point is if she is a good friend shell 100% understand what you are telling her and will talk to you more often even when K is around.

I think you should tell her how you feel because going home and crying all the time is going to get you very drepressed...So tell her how you feel when "K" isn't around and see how she reacts because sorry to say but a real friend wouldn't dump you just because someone else is around...if she responds like she doessn't care or gets mad at you assuming you have friends hag out with other people... but in the long run you will feel better just telling her how you feel and just getting how you fell out there...my mom always tells me to write how I feel in a journal so you could write to her and tell her how you fell if you don't think you can tell her to her face...I hope everything works out!!!!!!!

Let it go. A is NOT your best. You may be hers and that is the reason her treatment of you hurts so badly. Find yourself another friend and get on with your life. You are learning early what the real world is like. You're in training, pass the test with flying colors.

She is not a friend if she's playing silly little games like that. Don't waste your tears on her. Find a new friend because she's not worth it.
