Please take your nephew away from you sister and get custody. If you don't when someone sees them they will. It's better the kid be with a relative rather than in a foster home. Poor kid...

This sounds like a farce. It seems like a joke. It seems so ridiculous that I find it hard to read as my eyes were rolling so much.
If you DID see such a thing and you don't know what to do, then obviously you AND your Sister don't have a lick of Common Sense.
Please for the sake of the country and the World, please STOP Re-Producing. Obviously all that keeps on being bore is Idiots without any sense.
Just curious, Does your Family Tree Grow Straight?
OH BY THE WAY- Consider yourself reported to YAHOO Q&A for Abusing the Community that for the most part has an intelligent and thoughtful community. People like you need to go somewhere quiet and talk to a Tree Stump!

Congratulations, you end your latest shock/fantasy question by asking for help, which is a very important first step, so here is my advice: Find another venue for your ridiculous questions - too many people are actually putting time, energy and emotion into answering them. Ask yourself why you post such fiction about breast-feeding, incest, pedophilia/child abuse, adultery, "piss and pooh" (fortunately those have been removed, but then they only ever received a handful of responses, not the 50 plus responses you no doubt crave), and other "shocking" topics - is it cutting edge art? A social commentary? A psychology experiment? A need for attention? A need to feel important and clever by duping strangers? Pranks by a bored latchkey child? Or? Once you determine why you are doing this, it will be easier for you to find a more suitable outlet. Good luck!

Would you treat your son that way? If it's true what you're saying, she's breaking a few laws, not to mention a couple of moral laws. If I were her neighbor, I would have already been on the phone. Your sister needs some help and your nephew needs someone to step up!

Alright, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt.. and assume that this isn't some sick joke...
What you are describing is absolutely abuse, and you should go to the police and to social services with the information. If that is the way your sister is treating her son, then he needs to be removed from her home immediately.

your nephew is your business call the children services and report your sister for child abuse if you know she is beating your nephew and you don't tell the social workers then they can get you for knowing and not telling any one tell them what you did here .if this is a joke i sugest you stop it because their is people like that and worse the social workers might get this report and check your story out

I know you love your sister but she is an adult. There fore it is up to you to protect your nephew since he obviously can not protect himself.
Call Child Protective Services and report this abuse. This young person is going to need a lot of counseling to not repeat what his mom is doing to him when he has his own family.
Think about it do you really want this cycle to continue for generations?

you can call social services and report this... abuse of this type is a crime... not "tough love"
you might want to alert the State Highway Patrol, as well. I learned recently that they will deal with these cases.
whoever you call, you will remain anonymous. they will not tell your sister who reported the abuse.
i'm so sorry for your nephew.

my dear, this is as real as it will get. This child is not responsible for her tantrums, even though she seams to be the type to blame others for her failures or angry feelings.
She can't control everything around her, so she takes out on the weak. What she does is abuse, not misstreat and you should have a serious talk with her.
