So sorry to anyone who's pet has been affected by this horrible ordeal. Thankfully we use Caesar and it wasn't on recall so our little angel is fine. Whoever would be sick enough to do this, and I'm sure it was done purposely, should have to eat some themselves and suffer the way these poor animals have. Thanks for your opinions!

There are so many reports of food poisoning these days. Some accidental and others intentional. The human food chain has been targeted among the produce in 2006 with e coli and salmonella. Now the poor animals are being poisoned. According to the news it was rat poison. It takes a 'sick' individual to poison any living species. I hope the company finds out who did this. After they find out, the name of the person should be turned over to the FBI so a thorough background check is done. If the worst is found, the manufacturer of the pet food should be held accountable as well, for obvious reasons. We don't have pets anymore. They passed on naturally years ago.

Yes. Probably some sicko lunatic at the pet food manufacturing plant. Thank God this isn't a case of tainted human food. I have no idea where the food I eat comes from and I'd rather not know. Knowing would probably make me have a panic attack every time I bit into a morsel of food. There needs to be a serious overhaul of the food production and distribution process in this country or we are in for a serious disaster.

I sure hope that's not true because I have those kind of nightmares anyway. I can't even go to the Pets category because the questions make me cry. "My dog's leg has green running out of it, whut shud I du??" So Hello Fellow Animal Lover!! OH, and we had the Eukanuba but hadn't used it. 4 dogs of all ages.

Hard to say. I could be someone who would benifit from pet food stock prices going low so they can buy at a low price and then wait for stock values to go back up.
