My dad forgot to get a Sharpie out of his pocket then my mom washed the clothes and put them in the dryer and when we got home from the mall we saw the clothes all stained in the dryer.

Well they've been dried so you are going to have one heck of a time getting it out.
Try hair spray and a really good oxi clean stain remover. Scrub and see what happens. You can also try baking soda in a paste form and scrub it and see what happens.

First try to use orange oil or peel on it. underlay the mark with a white disposable/paper towel folded to absorb any ink...if the orange doesn't work, a product called Xylene/Merck at the pharmacist..
