Actual, there is a formula for great epics that a lot of authors loosely follow. The teacher always dies...but that doesn't make it predictable at all. Or else the seventh book wouldn't be one of the most anticipated in history.

i dont think its that predictable unless you sift through and look for foreshadowing in detail. or maybe if you're and english major.
i think the plot is getting better with more mature story lines---the story grows with the characters (as it should!) and each character gains a deeper development with each book.

Harry Potter has bad plots ever since they made those books into movies. I don't like Harry Potter and all of the movies are about witchcraft which Harry Potter fans love watching in the Harry Potter movies.

I don't think so, Snape had me fooled I didn't think that he would kill Dumbledore. I don't know what will happen I can't wait for the next book.
