Do you mean the kind of plywood that is used in the place you live in. It would depend on the thickness of your plywood and how big the tree was that your plywood was made from.

If its a eitty bitty tree it wouldn't make a 4x8 piece of plywood.

In order to buy our indulgences for using so much plywood we have planted 3 trees where we now live and 13 pine trees at our mountain home retreat.

Good question.

It depends on the thickness of the plywood and the size of the tree, plywood is made from veneers cut from various trees, the trees are sort of peeled to make the veneer, then these are steamed, dried, sorted for face or middle veneers, glued together then pressed. there is obviously more to it than this but that is the basics. If you could imagine the sheet of plywood rolled up like a Swiss roll, you could see roughly how much wood is used, from one average tree you could make many boards.
