I have to make a springtime display at my job, this is to be an outdoor display...I can make some wooden flowers, but I want everyones opinion as to what you think of when you think of spring...
Without getting into religious holidays as to not offend anyone.

Renewal
The birds coming back anew, building nests and having young ones.
Flowers blooming anew, trees budding anew, squirrels and rabbits chasing eachother for obvious reasons :)
The grass gets greener, the days get longer - and I WILL NOT LIE. Women start to wear less clothing, and as a man, that's one of my favorite parts about spring.

Bright apple green - the color of new leaves/grass just sprouting. The light shining through the leaves....
But I am sure that the color green I chose will be offensive to someone - People love to be offended. It's a sport.

You could make some bird nests and maybe get a little device to have the birds chirping (which I would have to deactivate) and some tulips, holly hocks and the like. Sounds wonderful have a great time.

For me, it's all about the smells, the colors, and the warmth. There's new growth everywhere and you feel like cleaning and organizing. The kids can get out and play and the adults can fire up the grill. Don't forget your SPF. I love this time of year!

Actually I looooooveeeeee the sun, so I hate the winter and the snow.When spring comes everything is different for me,I am happy and i SMILE ALL THE TIME BECAUSE MY MOOD GROWS AS THE SUN IS MORE AND MORE WARMER!
